The 5-4 Howell Highlanders play the undefeated Novi-Detroit Catholic Central Shamrocks in Novi at 1 p.m. on Sat, Oct. 29. The Highlanders made it in the playoffs last year but lost in the first round to Grand Ledge, with a final score of 34-2. Howell is taking on the number one team in the state and 27th best in the country. Novi-Detroit Catholic Central won the only previous match up against Howell 30-0.

“We are excited to be in the play-offs and even more excited to be playing CC. We are taking the underdog role to our advantage and hope to have a good game,” senior and varsity football co-captain Joey Gossett says.
