This weekend Performing Arts Dance Theater will be putting on their annual spring show, “On Top of the World”. The show will be performed on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 pm in the Howell High School Auditorium.

Dancers from both PADT and Glenn’s School of Dance will be performing this year.

“It’s a recital based on the PADT and apprenticeship,” dancer Rachel Klebba says. “This is the only show that’s just PADT and apprenticeship,” adds dancer Madeline Curd.

This year’s show will feature 32 dance numbers from the junior, teen, and major company teams. Around 120 dancers ranging from 9-18 years of age will be performing jazz, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, and tap.

“This show highlights the seniors that are in PADT. Our families bring us flowers up on stage,” Curd says.

This year’s show will be featuring one of the biggest groups of seniors PADT has had in a while.

“Right before they dance there’s a little tribute to them, a powerpoint,” dance coach Ginger Gray says

The show will be under the direction of Ginger Gray and Anni Ulman.

“It’s a really fun show, it’s one of my favorites,” Dancer Elise Chandler says.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at either Glenn’s School of Dance or at the door an hour before the show.
