Tuesday afternoon saw the end of Senior Survivor for Team Kinder and Team Sheridan. The rest of the Survivors celebrated their victory with Outback and didn't start any challenges until 9 at night.

The first Survivors to go turned out to be Team J-Terry Swerve and Team Morse Code. Despite this, Diana Morse returned and performed with the rest of the Survivors at the Highlander Awards. Before the event, the Survivors had some down time, visiting the baseball field for donations and eating food donations from Aubree's and Tomato Bro's.

This year on April 27 at 6:30 in the HHS auditorium, Howell is introducing their new idea for a talent show called the Highlander Awards.

A favorite week at Howell High School is fast approaching: Senior Survivor week. Every year senior student council puts on the competitive 5 days by picking six senior girls and six senior guys to spend the full 120 hours suck inside Howell High. Every day 2 students are voted off coming up with a big winner at the end of the week.

Race for senior survivor starts Wednesday

It’s that time of the year again. The race for Senior Survivor 2015 officially begins Wednesday, February 25th! Applications will be available in P-7 and the main office. All funds raised will go to Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. Last year, they raised $27,039.20 for The Rainbow Connection. Check out the Howell High School Class of 2015 Facebook page for a video of last year’s Senior Survivor finale.

The Kensington Valley Ice House in Brighton will be host to Howell's first Senior Skate. This is open to all Seniors as a great chance to have a good time skating around with friends. Tickets to this wintery event costs $5 to get in. The tickets will be available during the lunch periods on the Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th.

For the majority of students, senior year is one of the busiest, most stressful and most monumental times of their lives as they fret over college applications, scholarships and Prom. For members of student council, this workload only increases as they plan events and raise money for their class. Despite this, senior Kaitlin Rolli, president of the Class of 2015, devotes her time to effectively leading her classmates and crafting a positive school experience.

The Senior All-Night Party is at risk of not happening, much to the chagrin and disappointment of most HHS seniors, who heard stories of last year's party, which occurred at 2/24 Community Church and featured interesting attractions such as a hypnotist. Seniors can still have the party, but it's going to take the combined efforts of many HHS individuals of all ages and grades.
