If you’re interested in the medical field, then you may want to attend the Speakers Bureau assembly. Howell High School is holding the annual Speakers Bureau assembly in Lecture 1 on Wednesday, Feb. 26, during fifth hour.

The Speakers Bureau assembly is a chance for students who are curious about the medical field to listen to experienced professionals and ask questions.

“Some of the people we have coming are an EMT and a chiropractor. We just have people from medical related fields. They’ll talk about their jobs and answer questions like what they did in college, or what classes they took, and they might answer how much they get paid,” Alex Adle, treasurer of Interact Club, says.

All students from grades 9 to 12 are welcome to go to the assembly. Students who plan to attend must take C lunch. For this reason, permission slips are required for the assembly and are available in the office. Students must get signatures from their parent and fifth hour teacher.

“I think the assembly would be good for anyone to go to, but especially for people who want to go into the medical field because they’ll get more perspective,” Adle says.
