The Howell High School band will be performing their first concert of the year on Thursday, October 17. Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the HHS Marching Band will all be performing in the auditorium.
“I am very excited to see how the freshman will react to their first high school performance,” Mr. Jason Smigell, the 13-year Howell Band conductor, says.
Rick Wellington, a Trombone player for Wind Ensemble, says, “I am anxious to show our audience how hard we have been working, and to entertain them with something I love doing.”
Mr. Smigell also says people should attend this fall concert “because the music choice is good, and it is the only time you will be able to hear the marching band indoors. I appreciate the opportunity to perform for the community.”
