On Sunday, September 13, Howell High School’s equestrian team brought home yet another state title.
This year, states were held in Midland. Events for the state title included speed competitions, as well as jumping. Next year the team plans to attempt to return and win once again.
“It feels so good that we won,” says team captain Kelsea Goulah, a sophomore. “My team and I have worked very hard this past season and it really showed on Sunday. I want to thank my horse, coach, and most of all the parents and fans that came out to support us this year.”
