The Howell High School performing art department will present “Our Town” this weekend. Performances are set for 7 p.m. March 7-8 and 2 p.m. March 9, in the Howell High School auditorium.
“Our Town is one of those relatable shows that you can take away from the stage and into your community. Howell is one of those historical towns that fit perfectly with the description of Grover’s Corners. W
e live in a welcoming, small, self-enclosed township that many older families have been part of for well over a century. Going into 2014, we still found that using backdrops that are real photos of historic Howell solidify the message that Our Town is trying to get across: that we, as a town, never really get away from our original roots and ideas.” -Cassie Bondie, Assistant Director.
