Top 3 spring break destinations

Everybody likes to go to a hot destination in celebration of spring break. The question is – which destinations are the hottest? We chose the top three vacations for high schoolers trying to enjoy a week of warm weather.

Number 3: Daytona Beach, Florida

Located on the Atlantic coast of Florida this thriving beach town is definitely one to consider when deciding where to go this Spring Break. With average March temperatures being 80 degrees, this city will not disappoint when it comes to that nice bikini tan you’ve been longing for.   This town is also the “world center for racing”. People have been visiting this city for this purpose since the early 1900’s. Daytona International Speedway is also becoming even bigger as they add a $400 million addition to it called Daytona Rising, which will be the mecca for all things motor sports. So if you enjoy warm weather, beautiful beaches, and motor sports activities Daytona Beach is definitely your dream town for this years spring break.

Number 2: Cancun, Mexico

This tropical destination located on the southern most tip of Mexico is a hotspot for high school and college kids nationwide. Cancun weather is tropical and humid with year round sunshine, making it the perfect place for every outdoor activity and water sports. There are many resorts and hotels located right on the ocean making an easy access to nearly any beach or tourist attraction. Cancun is also a great place to get a taste of the local life and how they live, one way to get immersed in their culture is to  simply get a bite to eat at a local, authentic Mexican restaurant. If you’re looking for warm weather, beautiful beaches, and a look at a different culture Cancun is the place for you.

Number 1: Panama City Beach, Florida

With 27 miles of beaches and sunshine there’s no wonder this is the most visited place for young people on spring break. This city has nearly 100 beach access points with each beach offering something special. Panama City beach is also known for is beautiful sunsets each night on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Between sport-fishing, an exciting environment, relaxing spa-getaways, and family friendly museums and activities, there is always something to do in Panama City Beach Florida!
