Gabriel Olson, a senior at Howell High School, is a wacky and intriguing fella. Although some people believe he is a quaint companion, that is so far from the truth. Rambunctious and wickedly intelligent, Gabriel Olson walks a lonely road, the only one he ever knew. Designing the webpage for the Main Four lets him express the emotions present in the far reaches of his mind. Sometimes, he hears voices from his friend Beckett Vowhinkle, telling him, “Keep your chin up soldier!” Sprinting his way through the halls, making sure to arrive at each one of his classes on time, Gabriel effortlessly passes them with flying colors, most often with an A. “I think a lot of people consider me to be wacky and intriguing,” Olson said. Working hard or hardly working, his job, Little Caesars, 16 hours a week. Olson is a VERY hardworking young man. “Yoga has helped in this regard, as breathing helps me get through the tough times,” Olson said. Creativity is one of his strong suits, with teachers making comments such as “did this come from your head,” when describing an art sculpture he created in ceramics class. Many people, like his friends that he has, which he has a lot of, really enjoy his company. Paving his own trail, quaint towns speak to him. With a strong connection to nature, Gabe knows he can relate almost anything to anything else.
