Riley Amend, a senior at Howell High School, is excited and flattered to be a part of this year’s staff as a writer. She looks forward to creating new stories, sharing her opinions on topics, and improving them. She is involved in leadership event planning, working at Oak Pointe Country Club, and spending time with her friends and family. In her free time, she calls shopping her “therapy”. Her favorite thing to do alone is to go on night drives and blast music. Hanging out with her friends helps her escape reality and lift her spirits. Her dream would be to work somewhere in the medical field and live in a lake house.
