Freshman participates in Poetry Out Loud

Students came from Marquette, Petoskey, Detroit, and many more in order to compete in Poetry Out Loud. One participant in this event, however, arrived in Lansing on Mar. 13 from the halls of the Howell High School Freshman Campus. Her name? Anna Stocker.

Sticky note surprise greets the students of HHS

This morning, as weary Highlanders filed into the school, they were greeted by a positive surprise. On every individual locker, a sticky note had been placed with a positive message on it. Each sticky note seemed to have a unique message, design or handwriting which made the notes a personal and pleasant surprise. Students rushed to their lockers to see what message they had gotten.

First annual “We Believe in Miracles” concert

On Saturday, December 13, Howell High School's Suicide Awareness and Prevention group is presenting their first annual "We Believe in Miracles" concert. The event will be held from 6-10 p.m. in the gym at the Freshman Campus. Entrance costs $2 and will earn attendees a purple or yellow bracelet that will help raise awareness for the group
