Howell High School offers 19 sports for men and 21 sports for women. While there are many athletes in-season at any given point, there are plenty of other athletes in off-season along with other non-athlete students that want to come watch their friends play. This can be difficult, however, as admission prices to every game are five dollars; a small cost that builds up over the course of a year.

Last Friday, the Howell Gymnastics Team ended its standout season at the state team championship meet in Rockford. The Highlanders had one of the best seasons in the history of the school. Hours of work appears to have paid off, for the Highlanders finished fourth in the state behind Rockford, Canton and Grand Ledge after a 9th place state finish in 2014.

On Sunday, Feb. 22, the Howell High School Boys JV Bowling Team won their first JV High School Bowling Championship. The team had an incredible season which included a team record of 11-1 in the KLAA West Division and 14-1 in the KLAA Conference.
