Thursday, September 12th, is the informational meeting for the upcoming musical, High School Musical. The meeting will be held in room K-5 afterschool.
With the homecoming dance fast approaching and the average dress price hovering in the $60 to $90 range, some girls may feel overwhelmed by the price tag attached to their night of dancing.
A big congratulations to the 14 Senior Survivors that made it on this year. These special students were chosen out of 75 applications. May the best survivor win.

It’s that time of the year again. The race for Senior Survivor 2015 officially begins Wednesday, February 25th! Applications will be available in P-7 and the main office. All funds raised will go to Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. Last year, they raised $27,039.20 for The Rainbow Connection. Slip on your dancing shoes, everybody, because Winterfest is just around the corner! The theme for this year is Mardi Gras. Right after the boys’ basketball game on Friday the 13th, the dance will take place in the commons. It goes from 8:00-11:30 that evening.
On Monday, November 24, a Midshipman/2c, Oliver Nelson, from the U.S. Naval Academy will be coming to Howell High School. Nelson will be attending all lunches, for any students, to answer questions about the Naval Academy. If you are interested be sure to stop by his table in the lunchroom/commons area on November 24th!
